Five Interview Tips From Mike Wallace

  • Do your research, the more evidence, the better.
  • Use specific examples, quotes, evidence to draw a response from the interview subject.
  • Ask tough questions, don’t just agree or belief what the interview subject is telling you. Keep digging deeper, remain skeptical.
  • Re-word questions to get different responses.
  • Formulate a story, build up to the most obvious and/or confrontational question(s) i.e. “Did you use steroids?”
